Curry banana soup

Zutaten für 4 Personen

1.5 bananas
1/2 onion
1 clove of garlic
0.25 l vegetable stock
50 ml cream
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp curry
0.5 tsp ground cumin (cumin seeds)
salt
cayenne pepper

Zubereitung

  1. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
  4. Fry the onions and garlic in the melted butter until translucent.
  5. Add the bananas, sprinkle with curry and cumin and cook until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the stock, simmer for 10 minutes and then add the cream.
  7. Puree the soup.
  8. Season the soup to taste with salt and cayenne pepper.

The soup only tastes good when the bananas are really ripe.
