Lemon potatoes with mint

4 potatoes
0.5 lemons
1 clove of garlic
1 stem of mint
salt
cayenne pepper
olive oil

Zubereitung

  1. Cut the washed, brushed potatoes with skin into 6-8 wedges and place on a baking tray.
  2. Press the garlic clove with the skin on with the back of a knife.
  3. Cut the lemon into wedges.
  4. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems, chop roughly and place in a small bowl.
  5. Add the crushed garlic clove, oil, salt and cayenne pepper to the potato wedges and mix together.
  6. Bake the potato wedges in a 180° C oven for 20 minutes.
  7. Add the lemon wedges to the baked potatoes at the end of the 20 minutes.
  8. Bake the baked potatoes for a further 10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Sprinkle the baked potatoes with the mint just before serving.

UNser TIPP

The recipe without lemons makes simple potato wedges that can be modified almost endlessly with herbs and spices.
